How Climatize Works
Climatize is a Santa Cruz, CA based startup that enables you to invest in renewable energy projects that support underrepresented communities by rounding up your everyday purchases. You also have the option to set a recurring or a one-time investment.
After signing up and connecting your bank account, you can choose the renewable energy project you want to invest in based on profitability, location, or environmental impact. You can just “set it and forget”, sit back and track your financial and environmental impact.
The company's projects go beyond climate action and focus on supporting underrepresented communities, addressing other UN sustainable development goals. These are the organizations they are currently supporting through their Beta:

How to win $500 and plant trees for free
As of August 2022, they launched the Beta version of the app – already oversubscribed! Later this year, the company will launch the product and open access to the app to those who subscribed to their waitlist.
