While some may argue that the COVID-19 pandemic environment is now our "new normal," many small and medium-sized manufacturers are still struggling to keep up with the fluctuating workplace safety standards and overall health education of their workforce. With new data coming out and the frequent shifts in regulations, the same questions are resurfacing but are seldom answered directly: Is my employer required to compensate me for the costs or my time spent obtaining a COVID-19 test or vaccination? What does our HR department need to know and implement to be compliant? Does our workforce need to get the vaccine and what is the status of the rules coming from the White House?

During this webinar, M.R.S. OSHA Safety Consulting's Teddi Penewell, PTAC's Enrique Gonzalez, and CMTC's Jeri Summer will provide updated guidance on COVID-19 workplace safety requirements, information on how to compete for government contracts with the State of California, and insights on COVID-19 related topics for HR practitioners.

Key Topics:

  • OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard; key provisions; occupational exposure barriers; and company safety plans

  • Government contracting assistance; information on competing for government contracts with the State of California

  • HR-related issues from an employer's perspective; vaccination status; and how to share sensitive information appropriately

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

If you have any specific questions you would like answered, please submit them on the webinar registration page. Feel free to share this email with other manufacturers who may be interested.
