Apple Acquires Joby Aviation

Apple completed the transaction late Thursday night to acquire Joby Aviation, a California-based company developing an all-electric aircraft for commercial passenger service. Insiders report an all out cash purchase to be over $92B. Apple has been interested for years in eVTOL technology, time travel, and even more interested in incorporating their product line into electric aircrafts.

Apple has been secretly working with Joby for the last six months to integrate their popular Mac iOS into every aspect of the Joby platform. Apple iPhone users will be able to hail a Joby aircraft to their homes. And with the upcoming iLadder, ascend into the hovering aircraft.

Tim Cook has been spending a lot of time in Santa Cruz and Marina on this project. This week, there were many sightings of Mr. Cool and his team at Humble Sea Brewery and Cat & Cloud on the Westside since they are both close to the Joby location on Delaware Street. Bartenders at Humble Sea said the CEO of Apple has also made a large investment into his beer of choice: Socks & Sandals.

This is a great announcement and would be huge news for Santa Cruz, if it were true. If you believe it, then we have a bridge we can sell you. Wait how about the Giant Dipper? We will give you a great deal! Happy April Fools! Now read our 2023 April Fools article.
