Climatize Launches Beta App
Climatize launches beta app featuring Grid Alternatives Bay Area as the first project.
In May 2021, Will Wiseman and Alba Forns, co-founders of the financial technology startup, Climatize, took a bold leap and moved their startup from the EU to the United States. After arriving in Santa Cruz, Climatize joined the 4th cohort of Santa Cruz Works’ Accelerator program which has helped them subsidize a coworking space, make valuable business connections, and secure a $135,000 investment from Central Coast Angels. After a little over a year of hard work and determination, Climatize has announced the launch of its beta app this past Monday, on July 18th, 2022.

Climatize is a Santa Cruz based startup that enables you to invest and donate to renewable energy projects by rounding up your everyday purchases, and GRID Bay Area is the first organization on the app. The beta app is now live, donations only for now!
GRID Alternatives Bay Area, an organization that installs rooftop, community, and multifamily solar electric systems for income-qualified households and affordable housing providers, providing families with needed savings and training workers for jobs in the green-tech economy.
