The Chef Ann Foundation’s Healthy School Food Pathway (HSFP) Pre-Apprenticeship Program is a paid, 7-week learning experience designed to prepare individuals for careers in healthy, scratch-cook food operations and related fields like culinary arts, nutrition, and sustainable food systems. The program is open to anyone 18+ and is available in English and Spanish.

The Fall 2025 application is open now through August 27th, 2025 at 4:59pm PT. The Fall 2025 program runs from October 20th to December 12th, 2025.

Location: Partnered K-12 school districts, including Santa Cruz USD, Live Oak SD, and others across California.
