Climatize Surpasses $10 Million Investment Milestone

Climatize, an investment platform that makes it easy for anyone to back clean energy projects, announced on August 8, 2025 that it has surpassed $10 million in total investments. This significant milestone was achieved with the support of over 2,400 community members and has funded 22 renewable energy projects across the United States.

A graduate of the local Santa Cruz Accelerates program, Climatize is focused on democratizing access to climate investment beyond Santa Cruz and making it easy for anyone across the globe to make a difference. The company's platform allows individuals to invest as little as $10 in projects that might otherwise be inaccessible, directly supporting the transition to a clean energy economy.

The funded projects have a wide-reaching impact, including:

• Providing solar and battery storage for farms and small businesses.

• Bringing clean energy to low-income households and underserved communities.

• Building local resilience against extreme weather events.

• Reducing carbon emissions for decades to come.

This achievement was made possible through collaborations with a diverse group of partners, including Associated Energy Developers, BlocPower, Bright Saver, Capital Good Fund, Enterprise Energy, Gratitude Railroad, Mynt Systems, Ovanova, and Plankton Energy.

Climatize has now set its sights on the next target: $15 million in total investments, continuing its mission to make climate impact accessible to everyone.
