SurfAid Cup Santa Cruz 2024

The SurfAid Cup is stoked to be heading back to Pleasure Point on Sunday April 28th, for the 7th annual SurfAid Cup Santa Cruz. In this tag-team, relay-style competition, teams of four surfers raise funds for SurfAid's programs, enjoy cliff-side camaraderie, and compete for various awards (surfing and fundraising). Adding to the excitement of the event, the top fundraising teams get first picks from an impressive line-up of pros and local legends (provided by SurfAid) as their team's fifth member. The SurfAid Cup raises money for SurfAid’s lifesaving mission to improve the health, well- being, and resilience of people living in isolated regions connected to us through surfing. For 24 years, SurfAid has been working in Indonesia’s surfing heartlands including the Mentawais, Rote, Sumba, Sumbawa, and the Solomon Islands.

The SurfAid Cup is the signature fundraiser for SurfAid. The first event was held in Manly in 2011 and the event series has now grown globally to include six events in Australia and the US.
