Calling Santa Cruz Startups: New Flex Space Coming to the Westside

If your company is outgrowing its current space, or you’re searching for the right home to grow into, we want to hear from you. We’re exploring new office, lab, flex, and mixed-use space across a few Santa Cruz area properties, including the Old Wrigley Building and additional sites on the Westside and in Scotts Valley. Nothing is locked in yet. That’s exactly why we’re reaching out to the local startup community first: to understand what founders and teams actually need before finalizing the design.

• 2801 Mission Street, Santa Cruz (Westside)
• 5900 Butler Lane, Scotts Valley
• An additional Westside property (details to follow)

What’s Possible
These spaces are built to flex. Whether you need a small studio or a full facility, the plan is to shape the space around real demand, not the other way around.
• Space types: office, lab, flex, and mixed-use
• Sizes: from as small as 200 sq ft up to 50,000 sq ft, with most spaces likely landing in the 1,000 to 2,000 sq ft range
• Divisible: yes, spaces can be combined or split based on tenant needs

• Loading docks
• High ceilings, ideal for lab, maker, or creative uses
