Another Santa Cruz Tech company is making some waves not just here in Santa Cruz but statewide. CodeStringers is listed as No. 12 on Inc. Magazine’s list of California’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

We caught up with CodeStringers CEO, Michael Manzo to get his response and to learn more about what is next for CodeStringers.

“CodeStringers is committed to build world-class software for our clients,” said Michael Manzo. “We are humbled to have been named to the Inc. 5000 Regionals: California list along with many other world-class companies. This recognition of our success illustrates that our core values - innovation, craftsmanship and integrity - matter to our clients.” - Michael Manzo

SCW: Michael, what is next for CodeStringers?

Manzo: As to what’s next, CodeStringers operates two business units: products and outsourcing. The award from Inc. is related to our outsourcing business as our product, FileString (www.filestring.com), a cloud-based service that helps professionals track recipients’ use of and maintain control over confidential files, is pre-revenue. Later this year, FileString is expected to become “commercial” in that we’ll begin charging for the product and we’ll continue to add new functionality to enrich the experience and value for users. Our outsourcing business is continuing to grow and we’re currently looking for a couple of new clients as we’ve had a couple of engagements wrap up in the past six months.
