The Reservoir Establishes First Reservoir Farms Location

The Reservoir is thrilled to announce the first location of Reservoir Farms—a 40-acre canvas for agricultural innovation in the heart of Salinas Valley. This significant new site is made possible through a long-term lease from the Tanimura family, in partnership with Tanimura & Antle, one of America’s most respected family-owned produce growers. The Reservoir empowers startups to address massive rural market opportunities by driving innovation in agriculture and Reservoir Farms is an opportunity for startups to have a real world environment to test their innovations.

The new Reservoir Farms site is located at the historic corner of Highway 68 and Hitchcock Road. This strategic position is surrounded by some of the world’s most productive farmland, just minutes from downtown Salinas and key industry leaders like Western Growers.

Commenting on the new venture, Danny Bernstein, CEO of The Reservoir, stated via LinkedIn, “We’re humbled to begin this long-term collaboration with the Tanimura family, Brian Antle and the Antle family, the incredible team at Tanimura & Antle, and the broader grower community on California’s Central Coast.”

Reservoir Farms is set to become a pivotal center for advancing agricultural practices and technologies.
