Feanix Bio
Santa Cruz County also has a new employer in town.
Feanix Bio recently relocated its headquarters from North Carolina to Scotts Valley, where the agricultural biotech company is building a wet lab and growing its team of biologists, data scientists and engineers. Feanix uses genomics and AI to help dairy farmers make better breeding and herd-management decisions.
Recent openings have included roles such as Senior Lab Manager, Genomics; Dairy Support Specialist; Engineering Manager; Director of Product Management; Head of Customer Success; and Head of Revenue.

Paystand
Downtown Santa Cruz fintech company Paystand is another local employer to watch.
The company is building digital infrastructure for B2B payments and maintains its Santa Cruz office at 101 Church Street. Paystand continues to recruit talent as it expands its platform and team across several North American locations.
