Applications Open for Venture Program for Planetary Health

Have an idea to protect our ocean or climate? Whether you are just starting out or already testing your solution, this program supports innovators at any stage in turning your concept into a viable startup. This program, hosted by UC Santa Cruz and the Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA), helps you de-risk your project (non-profit or for-profit) so you can confidently move from concept to marketable solution. In order to be eligible to apply, you must have a team of 2 or more, have some UC Santa Cruz affiliation (faculty, student, alum, staff, and have a project focused on the ocean or climate.

Be matched with a dedicated industry mentor from SOA’s Global Mentorship Network of 360+ experts representing 25+ industries across 10 global regions.

Capacity-Building Workshops

Participate in four live online workshops, delivered by industry practitioners, designed to de-risk your startup and build its foundation.
