10 Startups to Watch in 2022

Santa Cruz is ripe with new startups and “mature” startups. When is a startup no longer a startup? Alex Wilhelm of TechCrunch created the 50-100-500 rule which states you can no longer be defined as a startup if you have a revenue which exceeds $50 million, have 100 or more employees and have a value of $500 million or more. We believe all of the companies listed below have the potential to exceed $50M revenue in the very near future. Which are you keeping an eye on? Also, save the date to see 6 startups presenting at the Santa Cruz Works New Tech on February 2, 2022. Tickets on sale on January 17, 2022.
