Here For You is a new platform that makes it easier for communities to come together and support each other during life's hardest moments. By bringing together tools for communication, task coordination, fundraising, gift registries, and resource sharing all in one place, the platform solves a common problem: people want to help, but they often don't know what to do.

The Story Behind the Mission

The inspiration for Here For You is deeply personal. Almost nine years ago, founder Kati Greaney and her family lost their sweet baby, Cedar. During that devastating time, the community rallied around them, helping them to both survive and heal. Driven by the profound care she received, Kati became a grief support facilitator. In that role, she saw firsthand how much support is often lacking for people experiencing hardship—not because people don't care, but because they lack the proper tools to coordinate.

Two years ago, Kati took her first steps toward making this vision a reality through the Santa Cruz Works accelerator program. Thanks to that early seed and significant growth since, an early version of the platform is now live at hereforyou.support.

Now, Kati is very close to a full launch. In keeping with the core mission of the platform, she is calling on the community to help take this next big leap.

How You Can Help

Help Fund the Mission: To reach the next stage of development, the team is raising $50,000. Every dollar goes directly toward building a tool the world genuinely needs. Please note that Here For You is a Public Benefit Corporation (not a nonprofit), so contributions are considered gifts and are not tax-deductible. If you or someone you know is interested in investing or discussing equity, the team welcomes that conversation.
Join the Team: Here For You is actively looking for a Tech Lead, a Designer, and a Sales & Marketing Professional to join the mission.
