Immergo Launches Successful Start Engine Campaign

Santa Cruz Accelerates member, Immergo Labs, developers of the world’s first virtual and interactive telehealth platform for physical therapy, have recently launched their crowdfunding campaign on Start Engine. In the first 5 days Immergo has raised over $100k!  Immergo Labs is the first company in our accelerator program to crowdfund with our partner Start Engine.

Co-founders Michael Powell, Ash Robbins, and Aviv Elor are UCSC alumni focused on increasing accessibility to healthcare.  They bring together expertise in virtual reality, biomechanics, and artificial intelligence to create the platform and tools physical therapists need for effective telehealth.  Over the past 2 years Immergo Labs has conducted over 200 interviews and 140 survey with physical therapists and related professionals to understand their customer needs and develop their platform accordingly.

Recently, Immergo Labs has partnered with the Houston Veterans Affairs (VA) and Stanford Health Care Outpatient Physical Therapy Department to conduct user testing. This will help Immergo Labs improve their platform by receiving feedback from physical therapists.  The NavalX Tech Bridges invited Immergo labs to demo their platform this past weekend at the Miramar Airshow in San Diego.  The team had the opportunity to demo their platform with many veterans, physical therapists, and active service members all of whom resonated with the need for quality telehealth. Participants were impressed with the platform and expressed desire to use the platform when it becomes available.  Immergo heard that there is a long wait time to get into a VA physical therapy clinic, often 4-8 weeks.  The VA is looking for better telehealth solutions to help alleviate this issue and get service members the care they need. The founders have heard a variety of use cases for a better telehealth platform and are gearing up for their beta launch in January.

If you believe in equitable care, putting people first, and build the metaverse for good, Immergo Labs invites you to join their mission and invest today in the future of telehealth!  For those interested in investing or learning more information about their company, see their Start Engine campaign page:  www.startengine.com/immergolabs
