Joby Unmanned eVTOL Crashes During High Speed Test

We learned last week that one of Joby’s two (2) prototypes eVTOL aircrafts crashed during high speed testing. Should we be concerned? Not really. The craft was unmanned. Joby was stress testing the upper limits in order to determine thresholds. This is an important part of testing for any product, whether it be an aircraft, a processor, or a baby toy. Keep in mind that Joby has more test flights than any other eVTOL. In the long run, these tests only make the craft safer and more reliable for us future passengers.
