MERGE4 Donates 200 Pairs of Socks to San Diego Unhoused Community Members

MERGE4 is proud to team up with 91X’s Tracy, Marty and Danielle for their ‘Sox and Underwear for X-Mas’ event to donate 200 pairs of socks to San Diego’s unhoused community members.

Presented by San Diego County Toyota Dealers, MERGE4’s donation was part of 91X and Balboa Park’s December Nights – San Diego’s largest holiday festival in beautiful Balboa Park. The annual family-friendly event is free to the public and brings San Diegans together to enjoy holiday lights, music, free museum entry, and amazing gourmet food.

After two years of the event being put on hold, the area was overflowing with high energy. There was amazing music, and the light show was off the hook! There were festivities everywhere, including food from all over the world and MERGE4 was in the center of it all thanks to 91X.

“We’d like to send a huge thank you to the team at 91X for organizing such a fantastic donation drive, and also to Balboa Park for hosting December Nights!” said MERGE4 CEO and Founder, Cindi Busenhart, “Good times were had by all, and we can’t wait to come back next year, if they’ll have us!”

All donated socks will be given to PATH San Diego, a nonprofit that provides a variety of services for San Diegans experiencing homelessness including outreach, housing navigation, interim housing, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing.
