Women in Philanthropy to Award Grants to Youth-Focused Nonprofits
Women in Philanthropy (WIP), a network of local women dedicated to creating positive change in Santa Cruz County, announced it will award grants totaling $20,000 to local nonprofit organizations that support youth. The selected recipients will receive $10,000 per year over a two-year period to help address the most critical issues facing young people in the community.
WIP harnesses the passion and commitment of local women through opportunities to give, advocate, and volunteer. The organization focuses on key areas that are vital to youth development, including:
College & Career Readiness: Preparing young people for future success.
Health & Wellness: Supporting the mental and physical well-being of youth.
Economic Mobility: Creating pathways for economic independence.
Community Engagement: Fostering a sense of belonging and civic participation.
