3DE Club Podcast Interviews Tech Legend Ed Colligan, Former CEO of Palm Inc.

The 3DE Club podcast, “Little Entrepreneurs, Big Questions” hosted by young entrepreneurs Fiona and Milo, recently released a special interview with tech industry icon, Ed Colligan. Known as the former CEO of Palm Inc. and a 2024 Titans Award honoree, Colligan shared insights from his career that helped shape modern mobile technology.

The interview gives listeners a behind-the-scenes look at the early days of mobile tech, from Colligan’s time building the Macintosh hardware ecosystem at Radius to his instrumental role in developing the revolutionary Palm Pilot at Palm Computing. He also discusses co-founding Handspring, creator of the Treo smartphone, which later merged with Palm. As President and CEO of Palm, Colligan grew revenues to over $2 billion and launched WebOS and the Palm Pre, innovations that laid the groundwork for today’s smartphone era.

Beyond his contributions to Silicon Valley, Colligan also discussed his current work in renewable energy. He serves as Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Americas for Low Carbon, where he helps advance large-scale renewable energy projects.
