Central Coast Angels Invests $135,000 in Climatize

Climatize founders: Will Wiseman and Alba Forns

Climatize, a member of the 4th Santa Cruz Works accelerator cohort, continues to make headway as they publicly announce $135,000 of new funding raised from the Central Coast Angels (CCA). This new capital brings their total funds raised to $421,000 in support of their mission to make every transaction an investment in climate action. The CCA have joined other prominent investors in supporting Climatize such as Andrew Ballester, the co-founder of GoFundMe, Responsibly Ventures & The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).

The Central Coast Angels are a group of local investors providing capital & mentoring to innovative companies exclusively in the Monterey Bay region. This group of former tech executives, corporate founders & and multi-generational entrepreneurs help provide local startups with the funds & veteran insights necessary to avoid the myriad of challenges in the lifecycle of a company.

Backing an entrepreneur like Will with an impact-focused company is exactly the type of investment CCA should do.
