FREE Family Education & Entrepreneurship Showcase This Weekend

3DE Club is organizing a free community event that brings together local nonprofit organizations in the fields of arts, music, dance, theater, entrepreneurship, and technology to create a fun, interactive, and inspiring experience for families with children. Our goal is to introduce young people to the many educational and creative opportunities available in our community while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Organizations and presenters participating include:
Doug Erickson, Executive Director of Santa Cruz Works, will deliver the keynote presentation, "Getting Started with Entrepreneurship," sharing practical advice for aspiring young entrepreneurs.
Chris Bley from DART will explore exciting career opportunities in aviation, aerospace, and robotics, followed by a live RoboDog demonstration.
Niall Macken, founder of Spanner Design, will take families behind the scenes of the product design process, showing how great ideas become real-world products.
David Silverglate, an accomplished toy inventor whose creations have sold millions of units worldwide, will inspire young inventors with insights into designing toys and turning creative ideas into successful products.
Milo, an 11-year-old member of the 3DE Club, will showcase his invention, the "Boss Station," and share his entrepreneurial journey from idea to prototype.
Additional presentations will feature Everyone's Music School, International Academy of Dance, All About Theatre, and several other outstanding community organizations offering enriching opportunities for local families.
