Founded by longtime friends Lara and Natasha, the new Santa Cruz County business is bringing customizable grazing experiences to corporate gatherings, weddings and private celebrations.
After more than 20 years of friendship, Lara and Natasha have turned their shared passion for food and entertaining into Mixt & Co., a newly launched catering business serving Santa Cruz, Monterey and Santa Clara Counties. Drawing on their Italian and Brazilian backgrounds, the founders are introducing a personalized approach to event catering that emphasizes presentation, hospitality and bringing people together.
Lara brings years of experience in hospitality, marketing and guest experiences, while Natasha contributes a passion for food, creativity and presentation. Their complementary backgrounds helped shape a business designed to make catering more interactive and adaptable to different occasions.
At the center of Mixt & Co.'s offerings is its signature mobile grazing cart, which can be customized for everything from traditional charcuterie to brunch, poké bowls and desserts. The company also creates elaborate grazing tables, individual grazing cups and boxes, and custom charcuterie boards. Rather than relying on a fixed menu, the founders tailor their offerings to the size, atmosphere and preferences of each event.
