This year, the conference introduced the first-ever Rider’s Choice Awards to give riders the chance to vote on the best companies of the year in the micromobility industry and to “celebrate the broad diversity of businesses and people that have supported the fastest-growing mobility ecosystem around the world.”

Founder/CEO Kyle Doerksen created Future Motion in Santa Cruz and ever since the launch of the Onewheel, the company has been a leading pioneer in the micro-mobility space. Onewheels are inspired by the experience and feeling of riding on hoverboards and snowboarding on powder but can be ridden not only on pavement, but also sand, dirt, and grass.
