Santa Cruz Accelerates Announces Startups Selected to Participate in 5th Cohort
Santa Cruz Accelerates (“SCA”), a leading accelerator program on the Central Coast, is proud to announce the startups that have been accepted into its fifth cohort. Santa Cruz Works has teamed up with Startup Space, Startup Science, and Innovation Within to support seed-stage companies in their growth and success by offering mentorship, resources, and funding in today's competitive market. The program has helped several startups grow and succeed such as Cruz Foam, Jane Technologies, Climatize, and several others.
“We are thrilled to welcome these exceptional startups into our fifth cohort at SCA,” said Santa Cruz Works Accelerates Program manager, Malina Long, “Santa Cruz County is home to a vibrant community of entrepreneurs who are leveraging technology to drive innovation. We are proud to support these individuals through our accelerator program and look forward to working alongside our newest cohort of startups as they evolve and scale.”
Each company will receive access to valuable resources such as office space, legal assistance, marketing support, and discounts to the top tools and services. In addition, each startup has access to SCA's network of mentors who can help them reach their goals faster than ever before on Startup Space. Mentors are leaders in technology, finance, law, business strategy, venture capital, marketing, and other key areas. The program will conclude with a pitch contest on August 2, 2023 where participants will be selected to present their businesses to customers, partners, investors, and other potential stakeholders from across the region.
