Carbonbridge, a startup specializing in converting methane to methanol, biologically, and graduate of Santa Cruz Accelerates 5th cohort has been selected for the highly competitive 2025 Startup Battlefield 200, TechCrunch's annual list of the world's most promising early-stage startups. Chosen from thousands of global applicants, Carbonbridge is recognized for its groundbreaking approach to combating climate change within the energy and clean tech category.

This exclusive recognition grants Carbonbridge a coveted spot to exhibit at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025, the premier tech event taking place October 27–29 in San Francisco. The event is a unique platform where founders, investors, and industry leaders converge to witness the technologies shaping the future.

TechCrunch Disrupt is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and has historically served as a launchpad for industry giants like Dropbox, Cloudflare, and Discord. The Startup Battlefield 200 cohort receives significant exposure, with all 200 companies having the opportunity to pitch their innovations and network with top-tier investors. Of these, 20 finalists will be selected to compete on the main stage for a $100,000 equity-free prize and the prestigious Disrupt Cup.
