Sustainable sock brand, MERGE4 is kicking off summer with socks at the historic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

Boardwalk visitors can now stock up on MERGE4 socks at Santa Cruz Threads kiosk at the end of the Double Shot ride and should be looking out for a new location directly across from the park’s Rock & Roll ride and just past the iconic Giant Dipper’s 60+ foot drop. From the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Santa Cruz-inspired designs to sustainable socks made from silky soft bamboo yarns and REPREVE certified recycled fibers, the new store, featuring MERGE4, will be stocked up just in time for summer visitors.

Some might think socks on the beach might not be a match made in heaven, but here in the Monterey Bay being prepared to bundle up after the sun goes down or the fog rolls in is key. The MERGE4 socks that will be making an appearance at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk will feature a range of local artists, photographers, and athletes.

“From riding the Giant Dipper to just grabbing some cotton candy, everyone who grew up in Santa Cruz has awesome memories tied to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk,” said MERGE4 Founder and CEO, Cindi Busenhart. “We’re excited to jump in feet first to the Boardwalk community and to welcome visitors into our MERGE4 family!”

“The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is thrilled to offer MERGE 4’s amazing socks with their unique and innovative designs to Boardwalk guests,” said Omid Aminifard, Vice President of Operations at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. “We couldn’t be happier to collaborate with MERGE4 on some amazing Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk designs and we can’t wait for people to be able to take a little piece of the Boardwalk home with them!”

MERGE4’s availability at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk coincides with the Boardwalk’s much anticipated reopening of rides and attractions on April 1. MERGE 4 socks will also be available at a second location on the Boardwalk set to open on May 1. Until then, MERGE 4 socks can be found at Santa Cruz Threads next to the Boardwalk’s Double Shot ride. Boardwalk retail and food locations are currently open, and the park is now operating rides at 25% capacity.

You may even catch Jason Acuna, better known as WeeMan, there one weekend in May. Stay tuned.
