Santa Cruz County Strategic Plan Now Live: Regional Leaders Unveil Shared Vision for Future Growth and Resilience
After more than a year of intensive collaboration, the 2025 Santa Cruz County Strategic Plan has been officially published and is now live. This comprehensive plan is the result of a joint effort between the Workforce Development Board of Santa Cruz County, the County of Santa Cruz, and the cities of Capitola, Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, and Watsonville.
The Strategic Plan represents a unified, shared commitment by all jurisdictions to foster regional growth, enhance economic resilience, and ensure equitable opportunity across Santa Cruz County.
The plan outlines five key, interconnected priorities that will guide regional efforts over the coming years:
