UC Santa Cruz Girls In Engineering Program

UCSC Girls in Engineering announced their 2020 program. 7th- and 8th-grade girls, primarily from low-income families in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties, are invited to attend a full week of hands-on workshops at Baskin Engineering...for free. In these workshops, the girls create their very own robots, imagine themselves as computer scientists and engineers, and explore the careers and educational opportunities available to them in STEM fields. There are 25 students per weeklong cohort. And this is where they could use support.
